Ranger Job Change
Travel light, prove your survival skills and pass the shooting, Bombring and wolf-control trials.
Pack for the whole quest
- Hunter or Sniper, Base Level 99 and Job Level 50 or higher.
- Spend all remaining skill points before applying and before the final promotion.
- If you are still an ordinary second job, complete rebirth first to retain access to transcendent skills. Transcendent characters can train to Job Level 70 before changing.
- Turtle Island access.
- You must begin with exactly zero carried weight. Store gear and supplies before the survival test; the instructor provides a bow, arrows and wings.
- Change to Ranger and the job quest’s equipment rewards.

Enter the practical-test waiting room and join the queue. Each round spawns monsters around you. Shoot only the monster named exactly “Poring”, regardless of its appearance; look at its name, not its sprite. Wrong targets deduct points. You need at least 15 points out of 20 to move on.

Speak to Staff Rust and receive the reports, Bombring capsules and healing items. Your weight is deliberately high, restricting movement and skills. Open a capsule, move away from the explosion and use it to clear the blocking monsters.
Use all the required capsules, retrieve the hidden equipment and reach the supervisor with the reports before the trial expires. Do not discard the reports to lower weight; hand them to the supervisor.
