Visit Grandpa Turtle inside Alberta’s inn. Ask about Turtle Island, then choose the option asking how to get there. Finish the conversation naming Gotanblue.

The sailor’s Turtle Island passage option is available after Grandpa Turtle’s directions. You still pay 10,000 Zeny for each trip.
Pay Gotanblue and sail to Turtle Island
Speak to Gotanblue on the docks. Ask how to reach Turtle Island and pay the 10,000 Zeny fare. You arrive on the surface map. There is no additional quest turn-in after the crossing; the journal may retain the travel reminder.

After landing, use the island’s cave entrance and the ordinary floor portals. There are no additional entrance-quest turn-ins for these three maps.
Use the sailor for the return trip
When ready to leave, speak to the Sailor on the island to return to Alberta. Gotanblue remains your repeat entry route. Ranger and Shadow Chaser candidates can continue their job quests from the island.
