RagnarokSearch Discord bot

Look up the game, organize a farming party and keep track of your next MVP right from your Discord server.

Get started

  1. Invite RagnarokSearch.

Choose your Discord server and authorize the bot.

  2. Choose your database.

A server administrator runs /setup and selects Renewal or Pre-Renewal. Everyone in that server uses the selected database.

  3. Make your first search.

Enter a name or ID, or select an autocomplete result. The bot posts a short preview with a link to the full database entry.

/mob query:1002

Database commands

CommandWhat it doesExample
/mobMonster stats, selected drops and locations./mob query:Poring
/itemItem stats, effects and drop sources./item query:Hat [1]
/whereRegular spawn maps and monster counts./where mob_id:1002
/mapMap information, monsters, NPCs and connections./map query:alberta
/skillSkill levels, costs and requirements./skill query:136
/questQuest guide preview and a full walkthrough link./quest query:Biolabs
/toolsLinks to calculators, planners and other tools./tools
/helpCommands, server settings and usage limits./help

When a name matches several entries, choose the one you want from the result menu. Searches and reminders use the server's selected database.

MVP timers

Record a kill and receive an alert at the earliest possible respawn. If you omit the kill time, the timer starts from the time you sent the command.

/mvp start mob_id:1039 location:prt_maze03

Alerts arrive by DM by default. Add public:true to share the timer and its alert on the channel.

Use killed_at:19:30 for a UTC time or killed_at:2026-09-14T21:30+02:00 for an exact date and timezone. Choose a spawn through location autocomplete. Custom servers can set minimum_minutes and maximum_minutes.

/mvp list
/mvp cancel timer_id:YOUR_TIMER_ID

Your list includes public timers and your own private timers. Alerts estimate a respawn window from the recorded kill.

Farming parties

Run /party to enter the start time, your in-game nickname and the monsters you want to farm. Choose an end time or end the party manually.

/party
  • Join adds your character nickname to the party.
  • Reminder enables a start DM without joining.
  • Leave removes your signup and reminder.
  • End party closes the announcement for its organizer or an administrator.

Start reminders are sent by DM to signed-up players. The channel announcement disappears when the party ends. Manual parties close automatically 12 hours after their start.

Your server, your setup

In /setup, open Command access to choose allowed channels and optional roles for each command. Selecting a channel includes its threads. /mvp has one shared setting for all its subcommands.

/setup command:mvp

An empty role selection allows everyone eligible to use that command. Administrators manage configuration; /setup and /rates require Administrator permission.

Server rates

Set Base EXP, Job EXP, normal item drops, cards and MVP rewards separately. Unspecified values keep their current multipliers.

/rates base:10 job:10 drop:5 card:2 mvp:3

Bot permissions

Allow View Channel, Send Messages, Embed Links and Read Message History. Threads also need Send Messages in Threads. Enable DMs from the bot to receive private reminders.

Saved settings, timers, party signups and command permissions survive bot restarts.

MAKE IT YOURS

Your server. Your rates.

See experience and drop chances adjusted to your server.

Drop chances are capped at 100%. These are base-rate estimates; server caps, level penalties, VIP and event bonuses can change the final result. MVP reward drops have their own multiplier.
