Trace of Battle

These look like

traces of some kind

of pursuit or battle, but

you can't really tell for sure.

There are signs

that many people

have traveled through

this particular area.

The traces of the battle

now split and head towards

the north and south. However,

there is a puddle of strong poison that you must neutralize before you can investigate this scene.

Fortunately, you can

temporarily nullify the

poison by using one

of your Green Potions.

The poison weakens

and some of it evaporates,

revealing a piece of cloth that

was hidden in that puddle.

A piece of cloth

is nothing to be

concerned about.

Hey... There's

blood on this cloth

and some writing on

it that I can't recognize.

Hopefully, this'll provide

some sort of clue to all this?

You take the piece

of cloth from the puddle

of poison and keep it with you.

Hmm...

It'll probably be

faster if I follow this

trail, rather than stop to

investigate this scene.

You can't find

anything else here,

aside from the traces

that split and lead both

northward and southward.
