Semangat's Wife

[Semangat's Wife]

Where's that old man

gone off to again?

Have you seen my husband around?

He ran away when

I was looking for him.

Should be somewhere, telling tall tales

to some travelers, like always.

I apologize

on behalf of my husband.

Please don't believe his foolish stories

saying he met with Monkeys and Snakes, or

that he fought alongside a Cuttlefish.

He has been living here

for entire life.

Yet, always find some travelers,

and who will listen to his made-up tales.

Oh. Please let me know

if you ever see him around.
