Learn Pang Voice. The complete Bard routes, requirements and NPC locations in one guide.
Pack for the whole quest
- Bard family, Job level 40 or higher.
- The five egg-collection successes are part of the quest; complete them before the final delivery.
- Complete Wandering Bard and earn its Black or Silver Seal before Riott can begin the Pang Voice lesson. The Silver Seal route is included below.

Meet Errende and hear his lyric request
If you already finished Wandering Bard and received a Black or Silver Seal, continue with the Pang Voice chapter below. Otherwise, speak with the Bard in Geffen and ask who he is.
Talk again, ask him to play a song and choose Play an upbeat song. Repeat this request until he complains about the lyrics and asks for help; agree to help. The upbeat-song choice is free.

At Job level 40 or higher, reassure the Young Man and offer him 1 Tropical Sograt. Finish the conversation to learn about the bard in Morocc. The Bartender beside that bard sells Tropical Sograt for 1,000 zeny.

After five successful collections, return to the bard carrying at least five Eggs. He takes five and teaches Pang Voice. If you return with fewer, he takes any remaining eggs and instead asks for 1 Munak Doll. Deliver that doll to finish the fallback route.
