Merchant Job Change
Join the Merchant Guild with the Renewal route, from registration to your final promotion.
Pack for the whole quest
- Novice at Job Level 10, with Basic Skill at Level 9.
- Spend your remaining skill points before requesting the promotion.
This is the Renewal guild route. The older collection, delivery and obstacle tests belong to the Pre-Renewal walkthrough.

Apply at the Merchant Guild
Travel to Alberta and speak to the Merchant Guild Chief. Choose the job-change application and confirm that you want to become a Merchant. Finish the conversation before moving on.

Ask to change your profession and accept the final confirmation. If the guild refuses, check Job Level 10 and Basic Skill 9 in your character and skill windows, then speak again.

Finish the promotion conversation with the guild NPC. Open your character window and confirm that your class is now Merchant. Your new profession starts at Job Level 1; the quest is finished.
