Bard Job Change
Befriend Lutie’s snowman, complete Lalo’s singing test and choose whether to bring trunks for an instrument.
Pack for the whole quest
- Archer at Job Level 40 or higher.
- Spend all remaining skill points. Job Level 50 gives you the full first-job skill pool.
- Male Archer.
- One accepted flower: Singing Flower, Hinalle, Aloe, Ment, Izidor, Witherless Rose, Frozen Rose or Illusion Flower.
- Change to Bard.

Give Lalo an accepted flower
Speak to the Wandering Bard in Comodo and apply. Give one of the flowers listed above; ordinary bouquets and simple flowers are not accepted. He sends you to befriend Jack Frost in Lutie.

You can request the job change immediately without an instrument, or bring 60 trunks of a single grade for a weapon. Ordinary Trunks give a Violin; Barren or Solid Trunks give a Mandolin; Fine-grained Trunks give a Mandolin below Job 50 or a Lute at Job 50.
Gather and submit the trunks before accepting the promotion if you want the instrument. Do not expect this offer to remain open after changing jobs.
