Moscovia Dungeon Entrance
Find Whale Island, commission the Gusli and convince the Csar before opening the forest and dungeon route.

- A box and EXP after the Csar accepts your account; learning the Gusli before the audience gives the better ending.

Hear Berbayeff’s story
Speak to Berbayeff near the waterfront and listen to the moving-island rumor. Read the Bulletin Board near Ibanoff, then ask him about the island and agree to help repair the ship.

Talk to Ibanoff aboard the ship and use the rudder when he calls for a direction. Select the direction he requests. Kill the attacking monsters when they board, then talk to him again to continue the voyage.

On Whale Island, speak to the Aged Stranger until he sends you back to the mainland. Tell Ibanoff what happened, then report the island to the Csar through the palace audience.

The Csar wants evidence. Return to Ibanoff and undertake the next voyage when sailing is available. Speak to the Aged Stranger on the island and explain the Csar’s request. Ask whether he has a way to prove your story.

Return with 30 Logs, 20 Tough Vines, 20 Goat Horns and 10 Sea-Otter Furs. Use Ibanoff’s island passage for this return trip after the instrument request is active. Give the materials to the Aged Stranger.

Open full mapReceive the Gusli and choose your ending
Talk to the stranger again until the instrument is ready. Receive Gusli. You may return directly to the Csar for the ordinary reward, or ask the stranger to teach you before returning.
For the better ending, equip Gusli and repeat the lessons until the stranger confirms you can play properly. Finish the training before the final royal audience; showing an unpracticed instrument gives the ordinary ending.

Return to the Csar with Gusli and finish the audience. If you completed the lessons, perform for him. Otherwise honestly show the instrument and take the ordinary ending. Collect the box and EXP.

The forest route becomes available after the Csar accepts your proof and the ending is complete. Obtaining Gusli alone does not complete this access condition.
Equip Gusli to return and enter the forest
Equip Gusli, then approach the marked waterfront spot in Moscovia to return to Whale Island. Carrying the instrument without equipping it does not trigger this route. Ask the Aged Stranger to Venture into the unknown and confirm. He sends you to mosk_fild02; follow the connected paths to the dungeon floors.
